Episode 23: Mildred Zdziebkowski - The Extraordinary Mildred Z

Inspired by the images she saw in the media, Mildred Zdziebkowski (Mildred Z) went to the Polish-Ukrainian border when Russia invaded Ukraine. After seeing the courageous and resilient people their, Mildred began to create a docuseries featuring some of the moving stories she encountered. For example, she met a British soldier who dedicated to saving animals left behind after the Russian invasion. She also met Chef Zhenya who provides the front lines of the war effort with thousands of meals per day.
