  • The West End Baptist Church Explosion and the Kentucky Meat Shower are the odd and unexplained mysteries we'll be covering this week. On Wednesday March 1st 1950 at 7:27pm, a gas leak at the West End Baptist Church in Beatrice Nebraska caused the building to explode. The church choir should have begun their rehearsal that night at 7:25pm, however every member of the church was uncharacteristically running late and missed the explosion. In 1876 in Rankin Kentucky, a woman stood on her farm and watched pieces of meat rain down from the sky.
