An eccentric, beautiful woman named Clementine has an inexplicable attraction to a dull man named Joel Barrish after a meet-cute at a train station. Is it Cupid working his magic on the couple, or have their minds been wiped with non-intrusive electrical stimulation to their hippocampi forcing them to implant messages to their subconscious so that they may find each other again? 

Could go either way... 🤷
