Episode 20: Mumbai on the Horizon: In this episode, I share my memories from living on the farm at Dapchari and how our journey to Mumbai (then Bombay) began.

I spent about 20 years with an abusive husband. In spite of being an independent, assertive woman, I felt trapped. Like I had no choice but to keep living with him. I am sharing my story here, bit-by-bit, in the hope that someone else can learn from my experience.

Starting from the very beginning, I’ve been narrating my story episode by episode.

I am hoping to unravel the whys of what happened by looking at the story and characters with a magnifying glass – connecting the dots of little events and incidents that might indicate a larger trend.

I am keeping my identity confidential because I fear the repercussions of sharing who I am.
