Let's start by talking about one of the biggest expenses for anyone living in Bulgaria: rent. Compared to many other European countries, Bulgaria offers very affordable housing options. In Sofia, rent for a one bedroom apartment fully equipped, around the city center, so let’s say 60 square meters (650 square feet) you can pay from 350 to 500 EURO.
