Harry T. Moore and his wife Harriette V.S. Moore were pioneer activists and leaders of the early Civil Rights Movement in the United States. The Civil Rights power couple who founded a chapter of the NAACP in Brevard County, Florida became the first martyrs in the movement after a handmade explosive detonated under the couple’s bed on Christmas night in 1951 killing the two. So, who so sinisterly murdered Harry and Harriette Moore and why?
