Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 Psalm 98:4

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. -1 John 1:9

DEVOTION
Based on 1 John 1
God's response to confession is as certain as His character. 'If' introduces the single condition—honest confession. 'Faithful' means He keeps His promise; 'just' means Christ's payment satisfies justice. Forgiveness handles sin's penalty; cleansing handles sin's pollution. 'All unrighteousness' leaves nothing unaddressed. Confession isn't informing God but agreeing with Him. When we call sin what He calls it, He removes it completely. Clean slate, clean heart, clean conscience.
A.C.T.S. REFLECTION
ADORATION: Faithful God, You forgive confessed sin completely. Your justice and mercy meet at the cross. I worship You, divine Forgiver.

THANKSGIVING: Thank You for faithful, just, complete forgiveness.


SUPPLICATION: Cleanse me from all unrighteousness as I confess today.

PSALM 98:4
Dear God, I am reminded of Your greatness and power as I lay down to sleep. Just as the sea roars and everything in it sing Your praises, may my heart be filled with the same awe and wonder. Let the rivers of my soul clap their hands, and let my spirit sing for joy in Your Presence. Lord, I know You are coming to judge the earth with righteousness and equity, and I pray that my life reflects Your holiness when that day approaches. Help me to walk in Your ways and be faithful to Your commands from morning’s light to the fading gleam of night. Thank You for Your love and provision in my life. I commit everything to You tonight and always. In Jesus’ holy name, I pray, Amen. 🙏🏾
