The story of Jesus’ transfiguration is one such powerful moment for His disciples. Jesus took Peter, James, and John up a mountain, where He revealed a glimpse of His divine glory. His face shone like the sun, and His clothes became dazzling white. This radiant transformation was a visual confirmation of His divine nature.

How do you respond when God reveals His glory in your life?

During the transfiguration, Moses and Elijah appeared with Jesus, symbolizing the Law and the Prophets. Yet, their presence paled in comparison to the glory of Jesus. This event underscored that Jesus is the fulfillment of both the Law and the Prophets, embodying the culmination of God's redemptive plan.

Have you ever felt awe and reverence in the presence of God's greatness?

Peter’s declaration that Jesus is the Son of God was affirmed by the transfiguration. The voice of God from the cloud saying, "This is my Son, whom I love; with him, I am well pleased. Like Peter, James. and John, I thank You Jesus that You are giving me uncommon access to understanding and experiencing You in new and powerful ways. I praise You for Your continued desire to take me higher and deeper into the things of the Lord. In the same way that You were transfigured, Jesus, I thank You that I am being transformed into the very likeness and image of You. In the same way our Heavenly Father validated Your purpose Jesus with John the Baptist, I also am recognizing the validation I have from You Lord to be seen and heard. Transform me from the inside out and let me bring others who are close to me in on the Journey of a transformed life. In Jesus’ Name, Amen. 🙏🏾
