The LORD is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth. -Psalms 145:18

DEVOTION
Based on Psalm 145
Proximity promised to prayers. 'Nigh' means near, close, intimate—God leans in when we call out. 'All them' excludes no sincere seeker. The condition is 'in truth'—genuine, honest, authentic calling. No pretense, no formulas, just real need meeting real God. He's not near to perfect prayers but true ones. Distance from God is never His doing. One truthful call closes any gap. The Lord of the universe draws near to honest hearts.

ADORATION: Near God, You draw close to every truthful call. Distance dissolves when sincerity speaks. I worship You, accessible Lord.


CONFESSION: I confess calling with pretense instead of truth.


THANKSGIVING: Thank You for being near to all who genuinely call.


SUPPLICATION: Draw near as I call on You in truth today.

Oh come, let’s worship and bow down. Let’s kneel before the Lord, our Maker.
PSALM 95:6
Dear Lord, tonight I want to take Your command to rest seriously. I want to resist the temptation to strive and work tirelessly without stopping. You offer peace to those who pause and refreshment to those who remain still in Your blessing. Put my restless mind at ease tonight. As I surrender to the gentle embrace of slumber, remind me that no worldly accomplishment is worth sacrificing my peace in You. I do not want to gain the world at the cost of my soul. Anchor me in that truth tonight, and usher me into a peaceful sleep. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen. 🙏🏾
