  • On October 1st 1980, about 6 months after Laureens disappearance, Judith found she was charged for three calls that had been placed in California. Two calls were from a motel in Santa Monica and the third from a motel in Santa Ana, this phone call was made to a teen sexual assistance hotline. When detectives spoke to the physician who maintained the hotline he denied knowing anything about the call.
