Episode 1: The Why "Feathers and Magnolias"

It started as a way to get to know our artist quickly. Every show I would ask the artist, "If you could fill three seats in this room, past, present, future, a mentor, your dog, who would it be?" If you have ever performed live you know there is always someone missing from your audience. Most musicians start with an audience of zero growing to an audience of maybe 2 and so on. I find the most common answer amongst artist is "my Grandmother" and "my grandfather".

While I always thought I'd write a memoire, a friend I met through hosting Ray Wylie Hubbard, convinced me to start this podcast.

This episode sheds light into the journey of becoming a storyteller and then finding it again. Its paired with the beautiful landscape of two trips I took to Colorado during a time I was finding the courage to return to writing.
