Riker, our resident Trekkie, introduces Schmee to Star Trek: Voyager (Netflix/Paramount+) with just the pilot episode, "Caretaker" (technically a two-parter). We discuss how effectively the pilot established the genre for the show, introduced the characters, presented the plot for the season/series to come, and hooked us to watch more.
