  • This week we have two stories that are a bit shorter, about 1,500 words a piece. The first, in honor of Earth Day, is a climate fiction slipstream story titled, "The Forest is a Dancer" by Lynne Sargent. The second is a ghost story from William Shaw titled, "The Fan Who Wasn't There."


    AUTHOR BIOS


    Lynne Sargent is a writer, aerialist, and holds a Ph.D in Applied Philosophy. They are the poetry editor at Utopia Science Fiction magazine. Their work has been nominated for Rhysling, Elgin, and Aurora Awards, and has appeared in venues such as Augur Magazine, Strange Horizons, and Daily Science Fiction.
