Ep 89 | If you’ve ever felt like your body is talking to you, but you’re not sure how to listen, this conversation offers a powerful reframe.
In this episode of Homes That Heal, Jen sits down with Dr. Wendy Henrichs for a deep, grounded conversation about chiropractic care, the nervous system, and how the body responds to physical, emotional, and environmental stress. This isn’t about chasing symptoms or quick fixes—it’s about understanding how the spine, nervous system, mindset, and lifestyle all work together to support healing.
Dr. Wendy shares why chiropractors aren’t just “back doctors,” how stress and stored emotion can show up as physical pain, and why creating safety for the nervous system is foundational for healing. Together, they explore the intersection of science and what some call “the woo”—from energy, breath, and visualization to nutrition, movement, and daily rhythms that help the body adapt and restore balance.
🕒 In this episode:
[08:06] – Why chiropractic is about the nervous system and whole body health
