From 1959 to 1984, London, Ontario earned a chilling reputation, later referred to as a serial-killer capital due to a string of brutal murders with multiple possible offenders. Over 25 years, young women, teens, and children vanished or were found murdered, leaving the city haunted and investigators desperate for answers. Among them was Detective Sergeant Dennis Alsop of the OPP, who spent decades documenting these cases in hopes of finally bringing closure.
In this episode, we look at some of the victims whose stories remain unsolved: Jacqueline Dunleavy (16), Frankie Jensen (9), Scott Leishman (16), Helga Beer (31), Lynda White (19), Jackie English (15), Patricia Bovin (22), Robert Bruce Stapylton (11), and Soraya O’Connell (15).
Join us as we revisit London’s darkest era, explore the evidence, and question whether modern forensics could finally reveal the truth.Thank you for listening, and Happy New Year
