First, we dive into the legendary case of Negativland, the experimental sound collagists who poked the bear by releasing an album titled U2—complete with a bootlegged Casey Kasem meltdown—and found themselves buried in legal hell faster than you can say “cease and desist.” Then, we unravel the bizarre fate of The Midnight Suns, an upstart rock band who thought it’d be funny to stage an elaborate prank on Bono—only to end up facing unexpected consequences that not even The Edge could have predicted.
