A senior at Jackson State University, Mya centers her work on access, alignment, and intentional growth, emphasizing that opportunity alone is not enough without the knowledge, confidence, and discernment to navigate it. Through her leadership, athletics, and campus involvement, she has developed a deep understanding of the realities students face as they balance academics, work, leadership, and personal purpose.

Mya is the author of Triple Threat: An Interactive Guide to Maximizing Earnings, Enrichment, and Extracurriculars, a resource that helps students rethink how they approach opportunity and view college as a connected journey rather than a collection of isolated achievements. Through her writing, speaking, and global initiative, she has connected students to scholarships, paid experiences, internships, and leadership opportunities while promoting opportunity literacy and self-advocacy.
