As the crew sails toward Levering, an industrial titan of gears, gardens, and guarded knowledge, the party enjoys the last bit of normalcy they'll have for some time. Meanwhile, Ruadhan has an audience with a very old friend, steeling him for the adventure ahead.

Not long after, code names are chosen, rations wait at the window, and an invitation looms—dinner with archivists, commanders, and the Eternal Watch itself. In front of them awaits an open sewer grate into Watcher's Garden.
