Ephesians 5:25 - "Husbands are called to love their wives as Christ loved the church, illustrating sacrificial love in relationships"

same scripture from the MSG Bible-Husbands, go all out in your love for your wives, exactly as Christ did for the church—a love marked by giving, not getting. Christ’s love makes the church whole. His words evoke her beauty. Everything he does and says is designed to bring the best out of her, dressing her in dazzling white silk, radiant with holiness. And that is how husbands ought to love their wives. They’re really doing themselves a favor—since they’re already “one” in marriage.

Ephesians 4:2 "Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love."

1 Thessalonians 5:11: "Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing."

Romans 5:8 "But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us."

Genesis 2:24- 'Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and hold fast to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.'

Malachi 2:14 Msg -"And here’s a second offense: You fill the place of worship with your whining and sniveling because you don’t get what you want from God. Do you know why? Simple. Because God was there as a witness when you spoke your marriage vows to your young bride, and now you’ve broken those vows, broken the faith-bond with your vowed companion, your covenant wife. God, not you, made marriage. His Spirit inhabits even the smallest details of marriage. And what does he want from marriage? Children of God, that’s what. So guard the spirit of marriage within you. Don’t cheat on your spouse."

Ephesians 4:29 NIV "Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen."
