They dive into the controversy that it sparked at the time with Fox News and the Churches, along with how the right-wing rhetoric has not changed on the topic of queer media. They also compare Brokeback Mountain to Billy Eichner’s Bros (2022), and point out the many similarities. Noah and Alexander ask if this film should count as queer media, with Jake Gyllenhaal and Heath Ledger not being apart of the LGBTQ+ Community.
