It’s a well-known fact that bullies are everywhere. News and social media outlets often share stories of children being bullied at school and online at alarming rates. But what happens when your bully isn’t a child, and the playground is your place of work? In case study published by Purdue University in 2022, researches found that an estimated 48.6 million Americans are bullied at work. Of those bullied, nearly 52% were in non-managerial roles, while 40% were in leadership or management roles. These numbers may seem alarming to some, but for Zenica Chatman they aren’t surprising at all. Listen in as she shares how she took her experience and used it to help other women of color disrupt workplace bullying.
