Kara Jackson knew she was going to be an optometrist until she received a suggestion from an academic counselor to become a physical therapist instead. That suggestion completely changed the direction of her academic career but still left her with the title, “doctor.”
Dr. Jackson talks about the value of having a mentor and the value they can bring to the table when it comes to preparation. Through their time spent together, Dr. Jackson was able to refine her answers and deliver polished answers that ultimately got her into the school of her choosing.
