正直なところ今見ると結構しょぼく感じるところは多々あるよね。

と、誤解を恐れずに指摘してみる。

でもこの作品、アメリカの大作映画がアジア人主役でも売れるという前例を作った伝説の一品だと思ってみると・・・

その時代その時代の流れを受けて作り上げられる映画たち。

やはり背景も込みで楽しむことでその魅力がさらに引き出される。

やはり映画もまた時には考えずに感じたほうが良いものだったり。

Let’s be honest — watching it today, parts of it feel a little clunky.
(Yeah, I said it. No regrets.)

But when you remember what this film meant — the first big Hollywood movie to feature an Asian lead and make it big —
you realize you’re not just watching a movie.
You’re witnessing a cultural shift.

Movies are always shaped by the times in which they’re made.
And sometimes, the best way to appreciate them isn’t to analyze every detail —
but to let them wash over you.

Sometimes, with film — just like with kung fu —
it’s better not to think, but to feel.
