After finishing inpatient or residential drug abuse treatment and receiving their diploma from the program, recovering addicts may not know what to do. Even if they are happy to go back to their regular routines, the adjustment may be challenging. On one day, they are watched at all times, and on the following day, they are let back into their houses. If they lack the required resources, they could soon relapse.
