This is an episode we have had in the making since we ideated this podcast–an introversion takeover! We got to have a conversation with biracial Korean American author, writer, and melancholy dreamer Tasha Jun.
In our conversation continuing to talk about threads that make up identity, Gabe & Tasha both get into sharing honestly about their experiences as introverts living in an extroverted, fast-paced capitalistic society. Gabe even flips the script and asks Katie about her experience as an extroverted, Mixed Christian Asian American woman and how her voice has not always been welcomed in every room.
Our conversation explores personal experiences, cultural expectations, and the importance of creating space for all voices. Join as we talk about the strength and gift of making space for introverted voices and leaning into the quiet, still, contemplative spaces of life.
