Ema Burgic

Ema Burgic was ranked 145 in the world in the WTA rankings when she decided to step away from tennis to start a family. Now, 8 years and 2 beautiful baby boys later, she’s back on the WTA Tour defying societal expectations and writing her tennis journey on her own terms. The obstacles she has faced and experiences she has garnered over the years of playing and coaching are truly unique and I can’t give her a proper introduction without mentioning her collegiate tennis feats too. Representing the Baylor Bears, Ema is a 7 time All-American and was ranked as high as 11 in the final ITA rankings.
