I'm pleased to welcome Hannah Kuhn to this week's episode...Hannah is a labor organizer working with freelance musicians in the Bay Area of San Francisco, to win fair wages and working conditions for gigging musicians.
It's easy to think that we are powerless to organize as gig workers, but is that really true? As the South Bay Organizing Committee prepares to host its first virtual panel on this on October 2nd, I'm eager to hear about their progress so far, and their plans to engage others around the country.
