So who is our fabulous guest?
Jared Markiewicz is a husband of 11 years, proud girl dad to energetic twin daughters, and the founder of Functional Integrated Training—a performance training gym in Fitchburg that’s been helping busy parents and professionals thrive for the past 13 years. His team currently coaches over 250 clients in personal and small group training, with a mission that goes far beyond reps and sets.
Through his work at FIT and his coaching platform, FIT Legacy, Jared helps high-achieving parents balance the demands of career, family, and personal well-being—using strength training as a foundation for physical, emotional, and relational health.
He’s spoken to groups ranging from 10 to over 500 participants, sharing strategies to help people sustainably integrate strength, movement, and discipline into their already full lives. His message is simple but powerful: you don’t have to choose between being a great parent, a high performer at work, and someone who feels strong in their own body. You can thrive in all three.
In today's discussion Jared is going to teach us the difference between motivation vs. discipline, how movement can be a positive factor in our relationships, what is foundational movements, and what is the one message that Jared wants all parents to know! So grab your workout gear, give your kiddo a coloring book, grab your coffee and lets get to "YOU"
