  • This week, we're jumping on the people pleasing train! Well, we've probably been on it for some time. That's not necessarily a bad train to be on. Studies show that 'people pleasing' behaviour can reveal underlining empathy and compassion as drivers for this way of living. And let's be honest, the world could use bucket loads more of that.


    The challenge comes with finding the right balance. As always, nothing is inherently good or bad, and to that point, people pleasing can also lead us into a spiral where we are actually acting to the detriment of our own happiness. We talk about our own experiences with people pleasing, where we think it might come from, and how we'd like our relationship with it to evolve moving forward.
