In just a few months, today’s guest won’t be able to listen to this episode because she will no longer be able to hear at all. At 17, Ella Coonen discovered she had a hearing impediment and received special hearing aids that allowed her to fully experience the world of sound for the first time. That was immediately followed by the discovery that her hearing would soon disappear altogether. Both discoveries were the spark of inspiration for a documentary project that will leave audiences laughing, crying and everything in between.
