EP 165 - The Savor the Burn Top 5 of 2025!

well, here we are, once again at the end of the year and it is time to revisit our top 5 reviewed bottles and try to give them a year end ranking! We ended up with 3 bourbons, 1 rye, and an Islay Scotch single malt. This collection is so diverse! In no particular order, we had the Michter's 2025 release of the 10 Year Single Barrel Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey, the Michter's 2025 release of the 10 Year Single Barrel Kentucky Straight Rye Whiskey, the Garrison Brothers 2025 release of the Laguna Madre Texas Straight Bourbon Whiskey, the Michter's 2025 release of the Bomberger's Declaration PFG Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey, and last and certainly not least, the Octomore 15.1 from Bruichladdich Distillery. This one ran a bit long but we managed to get it down to just a hair over 45 minutes.
