Welcome to the EBPOT podcast. The podcast is designed to help paediatric occupational therapists stay up to date with the latest publications in the world of OT. It's great additional to your CPD portfolio. The topic this week is DCD. The primary article focuses on participation experiences of adolescents with DCD.

I'm making some changes for the next round of podcasts, as I want to make sure, I have capacity to keep the podcast going and that I can cover the literature effectively. For the upcoming podcasts, I will be focusing on one primary article and then I will briefly discuss other articles that have been published on the topic. The articles that I will focus on are the ones I thought had the most interesting or most clinically applicable results to the widest audience. The references to the articles are on the EBPOT.com website, the link is in the show notes.

  • Episode 6: Inclusion in Schools
    Jan 10 2026

Welcome to the EBPOT podcast where we help you to stay up to date with current research in paediatric OT. My name is Kim Griffin, I'm a paediatric OT and your host. Today I've got three articles for a change, all on the topic of inclusion in schools. The first is a theoretical paper considering how belonging supports inclusion. The second explores a model for an inclusive school which was co-created. The final article discussed the experiences of neurodiverse students who have struggled to attend school due to anxiety. All three together seemed to provide quite a holistic view.
