Doubt always seems to show up right before the moment matters. On a 5 a.m. flight to Florida with too little sleep and a full weekend ahead—golden light meditation, private healings, and a men’s circle—I felt the familiar questions crowd in: Did I prepare enough? Will anyone come? Can I carry all of this alone? Instead of fighting the noise, I chose to witness it, breathe into the heart, and lean on God. That simple shift—from gripping the plan to trusting the process—changed the entire trip.

The story unfolds in small, human moments: rain that blocked the beach but nudged me to sit under the awning and give thanks; a burst of sun as gratitude rose; the surprise of a packed room when I expected a handful. Along the way, I relearned how excitement can tip into overexcitement, turning ideas into a pressure cooker. The fix wasn’t more content or perfect marketing. It was presence. Breath steadied the nervous system. Grounding brought the body back online. Joy unlocked the teaching so it could move through clean, beyond overthinking.
