Paradoxically, this creates a need to even have a way to sift through what type of advice you want to take as you transition. Like all things, taking bad advice can actually be worse than taking no advice at all, but taking advice and internalizing great advice and taking guidance from the people who are in positions you want to be in, or have a similar mentality in how they approached their military transition as you want is invaluable.
