Trigger Warning: this episode discusses diagnosis, treatment, mental health and fear of recurrence.
Episode 194: Part of the Living With and Beyond Cancer Series (Part 64).
Description: In this insightful episode, Naman Julka-Anderson and Jo McNamara sit down with Becky to hear about her life, treatment for a meningioma and her advice to others.
Becky is a mum of 3: “My family is my world and I'm very blessed. I love the simple things in life, like being outside and going on country walks. I am passionate about clean eating and nutrition, although I still have lots to learn. I'm a HR Manager and love my job, I really enjoy working with people. Health wise, I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis at the age of 3 and then a meningioma brain tumour in 2019, but I won't let that stop me!”
CPD Reflection Points:
- Reflect on Becky’s experience of diagnosis, balancing personal life and treatment.
