In this episode Jane & Liv chat with Katie Maycock. Katie shares with us the 5 stages of burnout and what we really need to be noticing in ourselves and others to prevent serious illness.

Katie gets it, she really does!

She knows what it feels like to be burnt out, lost, and feeling like you have to chase success while sprinting away from failure.

After burning out (twice!), she knew it was time to get some space. To literally ‘Get her Sh*t Together!’. And that’s when she started to go really deep on trying to understand her relationship with stress, and how it was impacting every part of her life.

She came to understand why she was chasing ‘stereo-typical success’. But she also had to acknowledge the workaholic perfectionist she had become, and how it had left her sick, unfulfilled, and questioning her very existence.

And that’s exactly when she stopped.

And instead unlearnt all the unsustainable coping mechanisms that had got her so far, and instead created a life where she was more than her job. And do you know what? She started thriving.

Her company is called

Get Your Sh*t Together you can contact her on LinkedIn or at https://www.getyourshittogether.io/
