We have the wonderful privilege to sit down with floral design entrepreneur, Michaela Mantarian today! Living and serving the Chicagoland area, Michaela has been designing and arranging florals for weddings and events since 2017. But that wasn't always a dream of her heart to run a floral design business. What started off with her desire to serve in the church, and running a side business as she started her first job in church ministry, Michaela found that the Lord opened up the door for her to have a floral ministry.

Now she has a thriving business with a wonderful team and you can even find her floral cart at farmers' markets in Chicagoland.

Her testimony is a wonderful one to listen to if you feel like you're on a path that you find yourself wandering off by the Lord's leading.

Welcome back to another season of Dressed in Splendeur!

It's been too long since we've last released an episode, and there are reasons for that. Our host, Lydia Summer, sits down to share an update on her life, the fears she still has to overcome, and shares briefly what will come in this new season. Lydia also sits down to talk with us about the topic of our conversation today: being a Light in the Darkness.

As this is the theme of our fall issue of our parent company, SPLENDEUR Magazine, Lydia thought it was the best timing, given that we are days away from another presidential election, what it means to shine Christ's light in such a dark world and nation that we live in today. Where people are divided and ideologies have been more perverse and pushed upon our children, it is still important to share the truth of the Gospel, but also to love our neighbors - especially with those who look nothing like us.

This is such an important discussion that we need to have today and every day.
