Hello there and welcome back, dear Draculants! I have returned! Did you miss me? More importantly: did you miss DRACUL? I know he missed you!

Forgive me for taking such a lengthy gap in between Episode 36 and 37; I'm currently in graduate school, which takes up all of my time! Furthermore, I had an internship over the summer which led me deeper into work and further away from uploading. Hopefully as things settle down going into the holidays, I will be able to publish more episodes!

Previously on Dracul: As we once again viewed the world in Catherine’s perspective, we come to see that she was entirely too close to unearthing the truth about her being related to Philippe Deiana. Shortly after, she was visited by a changed Funani, who could only warn her of Sartrum before uncontrollably turning into his lycanthrope state, initially unable to recognize Catherine before regaining some control and leaving in a hurry. Seeking Dracul’s help, Catherine then discovers his once hidden resting room, which strangely prevented Zazu’s magical self from entering, only to discover an apparition that resembled Veronica before finally resting her eyes on a paralyzed Dracul. Hello and Happy New Year, everyone! I hope you are staying safe, healthy, and happy during this trying times. It seems as though the world still has yet to learn of love and its incredible power. Perhaps someday sooner rather than later these terrible atrocities will end and we will walk together as a single race: the human race. Please sign any petitions you can to cease any war / conflict happening in the world whether it directly effects you or not. If times get too difficult and you need an escape, Dracul will always be here!

Previously on Dracul: Every evening, Funani had met up with Detective Alessio, who would retrieve files and documents for Funani, until he finally discovered the conn ection between Catherine and Dracul. Furthermore, he made another new friend with the village’s so-called “crazy lady” only for her to be killed by Dracul, as well. While grieving, Sartrum offers Funani an opportunity to take down Dracul for the well-being of Catherine and “others.” Denying this offer, Funani experiences alarming changes within him before uncontrollably changing into his beast form, running off to not be seen by anyone in town. Previously on Dracul: As we entered Funani's life since his disappearance from Catherine, we gained insight on how people interact with him and vice versa. After frustratingly uncovering very little about Catherine's past and ancestry, he continues on with his day: purchasing a Vampire index book and receiving a letter from his devoted. When evening came, he befriended a man who just so happened to be a detective working on a strangely familiar case, vowing to help Funani with his case in return for the insight he received.

Previously on Dracul: Catherine reveals her past to Dracul upon request, unknowingly sending him into a spiral as he pieces everything together. Not only is he the one who brought her father to his horrific end, but he has brought her ancestor/his first love to meet their demise, as well. As he faces an overwhelming episode, he loses his mind upon seeing a deceased Catherine and a laughing Veronica. The only thing that snapped him out was seeing Catherine alive and well before he passed out from exhaustion. Catherine finds herself alone in his room the next morning. Good morning/afternoon/evening, Draculants! It is my fervent hope that you are all doing well and staying safe. Please forgive me if I completely mistranslated anything in this podcast, I am still trying to incorporate languages that are all so new to me. Previously on Dracul: Catherine and Dracul accidentally show up matching as they share a passionately driven exchange in a secluded hallway. Interrupted, they are greeted by the host of the ball, Signore Roberto Moralí, who so happens to be another vampire. As they dance, Funani enters the scene, stealing Catherine away for a moment as he informs her of his research before he is overcome by a painful migraine, causing him to leave in a rush just moments before she and Dracul take their leave back home.

Previously on Dracul: Catherine went to go check in on Dracul to see how he was doing after nearly DYING earlier on in the day. Once she did, she was shocked to see what state his room was in as it was the complete opposite of what she had expected from him. They sat down and chatted for a short while as he began lavishing her with compliments. After telling her that he was glamoured by her, which she didn’t seem to take seriously, his eyes began to change and reflect her eye color.
