Join Dr. Velma TALKS ​o​n dating, relationships, and marriage. Each Saturday. It's a conversation with Dr. Velma, a bestselling Christian author, Certified dating and relationship coach, a woman married ​​for 50 blessed years, and a Speaker as your Podcast Host.

She highlights her popular CATCH Series, a Christian Contemporary Fiction​ series in which she addresses common dating mistakes while introducing Christian principles as the strategy for finding marriage.

In book one​, called The CATCH No One Wants, and two, The WRONG CATCH, she uses fish characters as the wrong men to date. In book three, she responds to her male readers about the wrong women to date, called The WRONG CATCH – She’ll Tear Down the House. Dr. Velma uses insects and animals as characters. All three books highlight the importance of recognizing RED flags to avoid a fool. The fourth installment, a Christian nonfiction called The Book of Fools, highlights 80 scriptures warning of fools and foolish behavior.

The series has blessed both women and men, single and married couples looking to reset. Although she uses fictional stories, they are based on her years of discovering the habits and problems women and men have when dating. ​She calls it a high school dating method versus a ​d​ate-for-marriage strategy.
