This parable that Jesus spoke about to the disciples was not just any parable - but the longest of all parables of Jesus in Matthew 25.

We have a wealthy employer who is going on a lengthly trip- He entrusts 3 servant each, with a different amount of talents, to each of them according to their abilities. We must catch this. The principle here is the employer is not favoring one servant over another. He is giving to each one what he knows they can successfully handle.

As a Christian, we have a right to be godly and we have a responsibility to be godly. Not by struggling and striving to be somebody; but by yielding every part of our life to the Lordship of Jesus and consistent obedience, walking in obedience.
The bible says we don't belong to ourself, for God bought each of us with a high price. So, we are to honor God with our bodies. We've been given that right and responsibility because Jesus purchased it for us at the highest price known to man; his own precious blood.

Are you a Peacekeeper or a Peacemaker? There is a big differences.

Most people in the church are Peacekeepers meaning;
- they avoid any kind of discomfort; their motto is, don't rock the boat.
- they hide behind any confrontation, meaning they let things go of that which should be addressed in love. In other words, they are not truth tellers.
- peacekeepers choose to keep peace, no matter the cost as long as they are not moved out of their comfort zone.
- by not acknowledging wrong doings, in an effort to maintain peace, peacekeepers actually justify wrongs rather than doing the more difficult work of resolving conflicts.
- peacekeepers want to maintain things as they are without discord or change.

In Matthew 31:23 Jesus refers not to those who keep the peace, but to those who actively make peace happen. The Peacemakers.
Peacemakers
- work at creating peace.
- work at reconciling people that are at odds with one another.
- peacemakers are willing to speak up.
- they endure discomfort, for they know the price of peace often requires a situation to get worse before it gets better.
- peacemakers will initiate opportunities for brave conservations.
- they understand that honest relationships are often messy but deeply worthwhile.
- to a peacemaker, EVERYONE is valuable.
There is no better friend than a honest, loyal, faithful Peacemaker.

he Biblical definition of Mercy is kindness toward someone who does not deserve it. That's all of us.
Mercy is not pity and it does not do away with sin. Rather, Mercy touches the needy person who repents and grants him undeserved dignity. Mercy is not sloppy agape.
