He is also the author of the  memoir ‘Free Refills: A Doctor Confronts His Addiction’.  We discuss his own addiction, cannabis, his take on 12 step and why there aren’t earlier interventions and less punitive routes for doctors facing SUD.

Joe peschie?

Dr. Peter's voice is so similar to Joe Peschi. I am sure I bombed the spelling on his last name. that's okay. Joe and Amy you guys are amazing I listen to every episode. I have been dealing with my addiction since I was 19, I am now 32 years old. thanks to this show I am still learning about this disease and more tools that can help.
