PHILOSOPHICAL GOSPEL PODCAST - DR CHRIS SYLVAIN - ROMANS, RUTH AND RIGHTEOUSNESS In this episode I am graciously joined by Dr. Christopher Sylvain, a registered pharmacist, is the pastor of Faith Full Gospel Baptist Church in New Orleans and the owner of Best Life Pharmacy and Wellness in New Orleans. He graduated in 1983 from Xavier University’s College of Pharmacy and taught nutrition and herbal medicine as an adjunct assistant professor at Xavier from 1995 to 2017. He directed a novel Clinical Nutrition Clerkship from 1998-2012 that trained pharmacy students to be nutrition educators. In this episode we discuss his thoughts on the Book of Romans and the construction of the Christian psyche as outlined by St. Paul, we discuss the Book of Ruth and what it means to be spiritually masculine and feminine. Additionally, we touch on the current state of the church in terms of how to combat the impending crisis of meaning faced by so many of today's younger people.
