Going into the Hospital is one of the most dangerous places you can go these days. I've personally had 3 friends almost die from MRSA after successfully surviving surgeries. About 120,000 a year leave through the morgue, NOT the front door by which they entered from proper medications, mixed up surgeries, wrong medications, unwashed hands, unsterilized stethoscopes, etc. which leads to DEATH! My guest this week is the Founder and Chairman of The Committee to Reduce Infection Deaths in Hospitals, Dr. Betsy McCaughey. Her work has led to many improvements in keeping patients safe while in the hospital and we'll discuss the 15 steps she's outlined to help you prepare for your stay in a hospital, what to do before, during, and after.
