  • I Spent the Night in a Small Town Motel
    May 31 2024

Tonight, I’m sensing an urban legend vibe in the air!

Our scene opens as our protagonist, a young lady, is driving out to a trailhead to begin a multi-day hike during spring break. Her plan is to make the drive all in one day, stay at a motel overnight, and then begin the long trek the following day.

Ahhh, I see the horror aficionados among you perked up when I mentioned urban legend style horror and motels. Well let’s just say that there’s a reason these rooms are so cheap, and there’s always a vacancy.

  • There's Something in the BASEMENT || Something Terrible Happened at my School Part 4
    May 17 2024

Tonight, we’ll check in with Mr.Vermeil and find out whether he’s good for his promise to go through hell for his students! In our last installment, he discovered that he had been hired at a school full of supernatural students-- as part of an initiative meant to help them integrate and function in human society. Shortly after that, he received a disturbing series of text messages, which turned out to be from an assassin! He foiled the assassin’s attempt on one of his students, but ultimately the assassin escaped. We rejoin the story as a school-wide lockdown has been called, and that includes our dear teacher. In order to reach the safehouse, however, he must pass through a labyrinth of concrete tunnels, and who knows what horrors are lurching through those? • I Don't Think My Students Are Human || Something Terrible Happened At My School-- Parts 2 & 3
    May 10 2024

Tonight, we’ll delve deeper into what’s going on at that freaky school! In episode 1, a marauder was discovered skulking around school grounds, and a team of rather lupine guards were dispatched to handle the situation. They dropped to all fours and ran like dogs into the forest. Shortly after that, there was a haunting scream, and everything returned to normal. TOO normal, if you ask Mr. Vermeil. He was told to drop the whole thing, and return to business as usual. Now, though, he finds himself hunted in his own home by a strange and electric force, and the mysteries of his workplace-- and the children who go there-- begin to unfurl. These stories are parts 2 and 3 of the 5 part series called “I'm a teacher at a school for children who aren't quite human.” And were written by nomass39 Link to tonight's story:https://shorturl.at/ftwDM

  • Something Terrible Happened at My School
    May 3 2024

Tonight, class is in session! And not everything is as it seems. I know some of you may be feeling anxious about horror that takes place in school—especially given the state of affairs today, but not to worry. We may go to some dark and macabre places on this channel, but we won’t be going THAT dark. No, the horror here comes from not from the marauder skulking around school grounds, but from the two men in suits who show up after the alarms sound. The men who were dispatched to handle the problem, but are anything BUT normal themselves. This story is called “Something terrible happened at my school, but no one else seems to care.” And was written by nomass39

  • The Patchwork Man
    Apr 19 2024

Tonight, we’ll explore a children’s game with a dark secret! Nestled deep among hills and evergreen trees, there rests a quiet town with a curse. Once every decade or so, a strange song reemerges among the children in the schoolyard, and in its wake-- disappearances. Surely a coincidence, right? But, hark! Can you hear the haunting melody floating on the breeze? It’s been about ten years since Jimmy Smythe disappeared, and I’m thinking there might be something to this Patchwork Man after all… This story is called: Does anyone remember the rhyme about the Patchwork Man? And the picture game? And was written by Quincy Lee…. Author's catalogue of stories: https://shorturl.at/tuyY1 Link to this story: https://shorturl.at/sBU69

  • The Masque of the Red Death
    Apr 12 2024

Tonight, I have a real treat to share with you! It’s no secret that I’m a fan of Edgar Allan Poe’s short stories; I’ve done several here on the channel already. I find that as I get older and revisit these stories, I appreciate them more and more, and find new things that delight and impress me each time I read them! I also find I can connect to the stories themselves more easily as my experience in the world grows. Allow me to set the stage for this story: A great and terrible disease—called the Red Death-- is sweeping across a medieval land. The prince of this land has decided that, rather than give aid of any kind, he would rather call up his closest…erm, 1000 friends, and wall all of them inside a secluded abbey. No one can get in, and no one can get out. There, they plan to party and wait it out, while the disease rages outside. All is well; the wine is flowing, the guests are dancing and mingling at an opulent masquerade ball, until a new guest arrives, dressed horribly as a victim of the Red Death. This story is called “The Masque of the Red Death”, and was written by Edgar Allan Poe.

  • Low Tide
    Apr 6 2024

Tonight, we’ll take a relaxing walk along the beach!

Our story opens as a young man takes a pause during his run down by the ocean.

As he decides to head back resume his routine, he meets 2 young ladies. They warn him to stay away from the water at low tide, because there have been many disappearances over the years as the tide has rolled out.

Of course, he dismisses their warning at first. But he quickly becomes a believer, when the first hand grabs his ankle from within the mud.
