Documentary About Cody Native Luke Bell

Filmmaker Kevin Romeo is making a documentary on the life of enigmatic country artist and Cody native Luke Bell.  The doc is titled, "Where Ya' Been: The Odyssey and Elegy of Luke Bell." Kevin discusses how he became a fan of Luke's music and really wanted to do a deep-dive into the musician who was on the cusp of great things, but tragically, died in 2022.  A talented and gregarious man, Bell dealt with mental illness most of his life, but was a prolific musician in the genre of, as Rolling Stone wrote, "Bell [played] classic honky-tonk with a wink and a yodel that summons the sleeping ghosts of country better than any voodoo spell ever could." The movie is slated to debut in October and Romeo says he will definitely have a premiere in Cody.
