Finally hearing some new information about insomnia. What I hate about every other book or podcast that I’ve heard about insomnia so far is the emphasis on how sick you’re going to be when you don’t get enough sleep. Those guys don’t realize how frustrating that is for people like me who are doing everything under the sun and still not sleeping. Of course we want to sleep, dummy! I think this guy gets it. It was refreshing to hear that quality over quantity is a real thing and I feel encouraged to keep seeking out cognitive behavioral therapy strategies for sleep and let go of trying new meds that just make me feel worse. He frames it in a way that makes sense. Thank you to the host and the guest speaker! I am ordering his books today.
