  • A Preview of IEA Enneagram Experience 2025
    May 8 2025

In this special collaborative episode with Do It for The Gram, the International Enneagram Association Podcast and Fathoms, Milton is joined by Seth “Creek” Creekmore, Lindsey Marks and Lee Fields as they preview the upcoming IEA Enneagram Experience 2025 - Global Conference and Celebration. All four hosts will be in attendance, so they share what they are looking forward to at this summer’s annual event while also reflecting on this year’s theme — 30 years honoring Enneagram pioneers and future frontiers.

The Fathoms team will continue to host the IEA podcast with the traditional long form interviews with legendary figures as well as collect personal stories from attendees to deeply humanize this work. In their current Season Five, Fathoms has been focusing on the history of the Enneagram from the perspective of different schools and models to get a fuller picture of how they’ve come into this tool, providing an important and better framework and grounding before the conference.

  • Social 8 - The Countertype Lens with Jessica Denise Dickson
    Mar 13 2025

In this episode, Jessica Denise Dickson returns to Do It For The Gram to discuss her countertype of Social 8 with Milton. After learning about the Enneagram during her time in higher education, Denise initially thought she was an Enneagram Two. She spent a few years doing work as a Two, but it was when she learned about the instincts and listened to women that she realized that she’s actually an Eight. She talks about her shift to Social Eight and how she’s transformed by this information. As she integrates Enneagram in her work, Denise provides a lot of insight on why typing is a journey of discovery, growth, healing and transformation and why she focuses more on the things the types give attention to such as core fears, desires, passions and fixations.

One aspect of this countertype is fear, yet Deon discusses how he uses fear in a different way and allows it to drive him to different places.

  • Self-Preservation 4 - The Countertype Lens with Halley Simpson
    Jan 30 2025

In this episode, Milton speaks with Halley Simpson, Recovery Coach and Alumni Outreach Specialist at Meadows Behavioral Healthcare, about being a Self-Preservation Four. Halley shares how the Enneagram found her when she was 19 years old and her journey in discovering that she is a Self-Preservation Four after initially thinking she was a Type Nine. With Self-Preservation Four being the most mistype of them all, Halley discusses the similarities to Type Nine and how it blends and adapts to seem like other types. She also talks about how her type contributes to her stoicism, which contributes to her not sharing her emotions freely in addition to her high threshold for emotional pain. However, her personality gives her empathy and compassion which allows her to do well in her work.
