Divine Intervention is a podcast that will follow me and others on a journey to self-acceptance and self-liberation. It will explore different texts, music, and other forms of media, discussing how they influence our perception of the self. There will be interviews, book analysis, and open, honest conversation. It is a journey of not only making sense of the world for myself but also a path to hopefully help others as well.

In this episode, I explore my journey of discovering the roots of my definitions, navigating assumptions, and feeling liberated when given a fresh start. Searching for self was inspired by a poem, where I discuss my struggles to see myself and the world clearly. I often find that my perception is influenced by how others view me, which complicates my understanding of my own identity and how I navigate spaces.

In this episode, I am excited to welcome my first guest, Rachel Etse from Germany. I met Rachel during my time in the Closely Examined program, and I was immediately drawn in by her story and the way she walks in her purpose.

Tune in to hear her discuss her personal journey, including the steps she took to not only change her career but also to transform her self-perception, outlook on life, and what success means for her.

In this episode, I reflect on my experience in a program called Closely Examined, which I participated in at the end of 2025. This experience taught me about nuance and how identity influences every conversation.

    • Nuance: the idea that multiple perspectives and realities can coexist.
    • I’m learning to embrace how this shows up in my life and identity
    • I am not defined by a single label. I am a culmination of many things.
    • I am learning to allow myself to simply be—not as a title or a specific thing, but as a person with all that I encompass.
    • Allow yourself to be and exist authentically as you are.
