Selina Kyle is left deep in debt by her father. Her solution is to create the Catwoman persona and become a jewel thief. A local museum in Gotham is showcasing the jewelry of the city's most famous citizens, including Martha Wayne's famous pearls. When Bruce overhears someone insulting his mother, he punches them. He is then sentenced to therapy with Harleen Quinzel.

Then a bit later, the Gotham Police Department sets up some situations to attempt to draw out Batman. They don't seem to be thankful for the fact that this man is helping to keep the city safer. It is Christmas Eve in Gotham and lots of things are stirring, especially for a little boy and his cat. Damien Wayne is training to protect the city just like his father. Damien tricks Alfred into leaving the house as well so that he can put his newly acquired utility belt to the test. Soon after Alfred leaves, burglars enter Wayne Manor and crime fighting becomes all too real for our little Batman. It turns out Joker is back with Penguin, Ivy and more. His goal is to steal Christmas from the citizens of Gotham. Now that Batman is on a wild goose chase in the Arctic it is up to Damien to save the city. Lord Morpheus is gone and the new Dream of the Endless must figure out how to pick up the pieces. Just yesterday he was baby Daniel, so it is not surprising that he is finding this task a bit daunting. Luckily, those closest to Morpheus are here to guide him along the way. It was very heartwarming to see how many returned to the dreaming to bid farewell to Morpheus. The Dreaming will live on because of the sacrifice of its former king!
