DREAMSeek HimJon FredricksToday's Scripture: Joel 1:2-20 NLT__________ Joel 2:28 NIVAnd afterward,I will pour out my Spirit on all people.Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions. Proverbs 29:19 NIV Genesis 1:28 NLT John 10:10 NIV Ephesians 2:10 NIV Mark 4:19 NIV Proverbs 13:12 ESV Joel 1:2-20 NLTHear this, you leaders of the people.Listen, all who live in the land.In all your history, has anything like this happened before? 3 Tell your children about it in the years to come, and let your children tell their children.Pass the story down from generation to generation.4 After the cutting locusts finished eating the crops, the swarming locusts took what was left! After them came the hopping locusts, and then the stripping locusts, too! 5 Wake up, you drunkards, and weep!Wail, all you wine-drinkers!All the grapes are ruined, and all your sweet wine is gone. 6 A vast army of locusts has invaded my land,a terrible army too numerous to count. Its teeth are like lions’ teeth, its fangs like those of a lioness. 7 It has destroyed my grapevinesand ruined my fig trees, stripping their bark and destroying it,leaving the branches white and bare. 8 Weep like a bride dressed in black, mourning the death of her husband. 9 For there is no grain or wineto offer at the Temple of the Lord.So the priests are in mourning. The ministers of the Lord are weeping. 10 The fields are ruined, the land is stripped bare. The grain is destroyed, the grapes have shriveled, and the olive oil is gone. 11 Despair, all you farmers!Wail, all you vine growers!Weep, because the wheat and barley—all the crops of the field—are ruined. 12 The grapevines have dried up,and the fig trees have withered. The pomegranate trees, palm trees, and apple trees—all the fruit trees—have dried up.And the people’s joy has dried up with them. 13 Dress yourselves in burlap and weep, you priests!Wail, you who serve before the altar!Come, spend the night in burlap, you ministers of my God.For there is no grain or wineto offer at the Temple of your God. 14 Announce a time of fasting;call the people together for a solemn meeting.Bring the leadersand all the people of the landinto the Temple of the Lord your God,and cry out to him there. 15 The day of the Lord is near, the day when destruction comes from the Almighty. How terrible that day will be! 16 Our food disappears before our very eyes.No joyful celebrations are held in the house of our God. 17 The seeds die in the parched ground, and the grain crops fail. The barns stand empty, and granaries are abandoned. 18 How the animals moan with hunger! The herds of cattle wander about confused, because they have no pasture. The flocks of sheep and goats bleat in misery. 19 Lord, help us!The fire has consumed the wilderness pastures, and flames have burned up all the trees. 20 Even the wild animals cry out to youbecause the streams have dried up,and fire has consumed the wilderness pastures. 1) LISTEN TO THE WHISPERJoel 1:2-3 NLT Revelation 3:20 NLT 2) LET YOURSELF LONG AGAINJoel 1:8-9 NLT Psalm 42:11 ESV Philippians 1:6 ESV 3) LOOK TO THE GIVER OF DREAMSJoel 2:13-14 NLT Psalm 86:7 NLT Matthew 11:28 ESV 2 Chronicles 7:14 NIV Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds, wake in the day to find that it was vanity: but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act on their dreams with open eyes, to make them possible. - T.E. • An Eternal People - August 31, 2025
    Sep 1 2025
Be:LiveAn Eternal PeopleJon FredricksToday's Scripture: Romans 8:28 NIV__________ Romans 8:28 NIVAnd we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.1 Corinthians 15:19 NIV19 If only for this life we have hope in Christ, we are of all people most to be pitied. Hebrews 11:13 NIV13 All these people were still living by faith when they died. They did not receive the things promised; they only saw them and welcomed them from a distance, admitting that they were foreigners and strangers on earth. John 14:1-6 NIV“Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. 2 My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. 4 You know the way to the place where I am going.” 5 Thomas said to him, “Lord, we don’t know where you are going, so how can we know the way?” 6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. Mark 12:26 NIVNow about the dead rising—have you not read in the Book of Moses, in the account of the burning bush, how God said to him, ‘I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob’? Mark 12:27 NIVHe is not the God of the dead, but of the living. You are badly mistaken!” John 14:1-3 NIV Matthew 6:20 NIVBut store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. John 17:3 NIV3 Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent. John 14:6 NIV Matthew 7:23 NIVThen I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’ 1 Thessalonians 4:13-14 NIV13 Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope. 14 For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him. Revelations 21:4-5 NIV Romans 8:22-25 NIV 1) COMPLETELY CERTAIN1 Corinthians 15:19-22 NIV19 If only for this life we have hope in Christ, we are of all people most to be pitied. 20 But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. 21 For since death came through a man, the resurrection of the dead comes also through a man. 22 For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive. 1 Corinthians 15:42-44 NIV42 So will it be with the resurrection of the dead. The body that is sown is perishable, it is raised imperishable; 43 it is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory; it is sown in weakness, it is raised in power; 44 it is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body. If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual body. 1 Corinthians 15:50-58 NIV 2) COMMITTED TO HIS KINGDOMPhilippians 1:21 NIVFor to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain. Hebrews 11:14-16 NIV14 People who say such things show that they are looking for a country of their own.15 If they had been thinking of the country they had left, they would have had opportunity to return. 16 Instead, they were longing for a better country—a heavenly one. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for he has prepared a city for them. 3) CO-OPERATING CONTINUALLYMatthew 6:20 NIVBut store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. Matthew 16:19 NIVI will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.” Proverbs 11:30 NIVThe fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, and the one who is wise saves lives.

    Be:Live

    I'm Never Ever Lost

    Jon Fredricks

    Today's Scripture: Romans 8:31-39 NIV

    __________

    Romans 3:23 NIV

23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

    Romans 6:23 NIV

23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

    Romans 5:8 NIV

But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

    Romans 10:13 NIV

13 for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

    Romans 7:21-25 NIV

21 So I find this law at work: Although I want to do good, evil is right there with me. 22For in my inner being I delight in God’s law; 23 but I see another law at work in me, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin at work within me. 24 What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body that is subject to death? 25 Thanks be to God, who delivers me through Jesus Christ our Lord!

    Romans 8:31-39 NIV

31 What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32 He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? 33 Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. 34 Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us. 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? 36 As it is written: “For your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.” 37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

    1) NOTHING IMPACTS MY STATUS

    Romans 8:33-34 NIV

    Romans 8:1 NIV

Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus,

    John 10:28-29 NIV

28 I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand. 29 My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand.

    1 John 5:13 NIV

13 I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life.

    Hebrews 13:5 NIV

…God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.”

    2) MY THING IS OUR THING

    Romans 8:35-36 NIV

    Psalm 44:22 NIV

Yet for your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.

    Psalm 44:23 NIV

Awake, Lord! Why do you sleep?
Rouse yourself! Do not reject us forever.

    1 Corinthians 10:13 NIV

No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.

    3) SOMETHINGS ARE STILL TO CHANGE

    Romans 8:37 NIV

    Philippians 1:6 NIV

being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.

    4) EVERYTHING WILL FAIL

    Romans 8:37-39 NIV
